Yes. The front side has a deep juice groove to catch liquids; the back side is completely flat. Both sides can be used.
Is it safe for raw meat?

Yes. Bamboo is a safe and healthy material for making cutting boards. Hand wash it after use.
Will it crack easily?

No, our bamboo cutting boards have an extra thick and 3-layer construction, it won't easily crack.
How to clean and maintain?

Hand wash them (do not pass them in dishwasher), air dry completely, and occasionally oil to maintain bamboo's natural beauty and prevent bacterial growth. Any food-grade oil will do the job.
Does it have any odor?

For carbonized bamboo cutting boards, when the package is first opened, it may have a slight scent from the carbonization process (completely physical process, nothing chemical). This is normal. Leave it on countertop and the scent will dissipate.
